Cafe 29 in Emmaus

About café 29

café 29 is a small café in Emmaus, PA with a bistro type of feel. café 29 is a caterer in Emmaus willing to give up the frozen puff pastry assortments of hors d'oeuvres you can buy and heat yourself. We want to make you a wasabi wonton triangle with tortilla crusted tilapia and manchego cheese; or a vegetarian southwestern filo cup with a touch of heat and a taste of sweet.

We could make you a frozen heated chicken cordon bleu but we'd rather make chicken with a citrus lime cilantro marinade or a melt in your mouth beef tenderloin with a glaze that hints of bourbon and covered with bits of grilled pineapple.

café 29 is like a salad bar where the best items are chosen for you. We could do a garden salad for you, but we'd love to make you a Harvest Citrus Salad and make you the talk of the town with your fresh chopped apples, dried cranberries, candied walnuts and some extra sharp cheddar cheese. Or maybe some gorgonzola with a drizzle of citrus vinaigrette with hints of raspberry. And hmmm, is that orange all over it?

A turkey sandwich with mayo? Forget it. We want to add things like smoked cheddar, applejack sauce and crumbled sweet cornbread. We want to roll it in an herb tortilla and warm it until it smells as good as it tastes... We want to add a little zing to your palate... A little fire and ice or a little Jamaican jerk... We want to toast your panini until the outside is crispy and the inside is gooey and warm and just really, really good.

Sandwiches, panini's, wraps; you won't want to go back to the plain and ordinary when we can make your taste buds dance. All of them!
